This is indeed the space where you would normally find the weekly rant column by Dan Dunn, The Imbiber. But this week Dan is busy getting ready for his Cinco de Mayo Spectacular on Conan. Tune in Wednesday night at 11 p.m. (10 p.m. Central) on TBS to see the Imbiber and Coco himself make a slew of shots in preparation for Cinco De Mayo. Here is a sneak preview of the creations they will be premiering on the show: the sweet and salty "Bringing Home the Bacon" tequila shot.

  • 1 1/2 ounces Hornitos Anejo Tequila
  • maple syrup
  • bacon bits
Directions
  1. Rim a shot glass with maple syrup
  2. Dip glass in bacon bits to coat the rim.
  3. Fill glass with Hornitos Tequila 
  4. Drink
