Where To Discover Ina Garten-Worthy Olive Oil

While a lot of Mediterranean regions such as Italy and Greece are said to be high-quality sources of olive oil, chef Ina Garten likes to get her olive oil from California.

Ina Garten says she prefers Californian oil over Italian olive oil and uses Olio Santo's cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil, which is produced in Napa Valley, California.

Garten states on her website that "it's flavorful, fruity, and not heavy." Homeware store Williams Sonoma sells a 25.4-ounce bottle of the oil for $39.95, excluding shipping fees.
Olio Santo claims it is an award-winning olive oil "from the celebrated Central Valley growing region" and can be used to dress salads, add to pasta, and marinate grilled foods.
As of summer 2023, Amazon is selling a 17-ounce bottle of the oil for $40 (shipping excluded) via Stonehouse Oil & Vinegar Co. It’s also retailing on that company's site for $20.
However, Garten clarifies on her site that "good" olive oil should be "the best oil that your budget allows" and also adds, "It certainly doesn't need to be the most expensive!"
