Turn Your Hot Chocolate Mix Into A Sweet And Creamy Dip
Although most of us use hot chocolate mix solely for making a warm drink, the powdered product can be incorporated into countless recipes, and you can even turn it into a dip.
The simplest way to make hot chocolate dip is to mix the powder with a tub of whipped cream. Once the two are well-mixed, cover and refrigerate the dip until you're ready to serve.
Many recipes call for Cool Whip, as it's more stable and holds its shape better than regular whipped cream, making for a thick dip that is less likely to turn soupy.
You can use store-bought whipped cream or make it from scratch for a less processed flavor. Mix everything by hand, as an electric mixer can squash the light, fluffy texture.
The resulting dip will pair beautifully with graham crackers, cookies, pretzels, marshmallows, fruits, and any other accouterments you'd be served at a hot chocolate bar.
Besides making a delicious dip, you can also add hot chocolate mix to other desserts like cheesecake and pudding for a chocolatey upgrade.
