The Playful Popsicle Stick Hack To Get Snackable Watermelon
Watermelon is a yummy snack that can quickly turn into a sticky, dripping mess. Luckily, you can eat watermelon mess-free by serving slices on popsicle sticks.
The best part is that adults and kids can enjoy these slices fresh or frozen. All you need is a knife, a cutting board, popsicle sticks, and of course, a juicy watermelon.
Start by washing your watermelon, then cut it into 1-inch wide discs and slice them into triangle-shaped pieces. Cut a small slit into each rind before pushing in a popsicle stick.
You can take this treat to the next level by freezing them for two to four hours. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and put the pan in the freezer.
Cut watermelon only lasts three to five days in the fridge, but freezing it can extend its lifespan to about eight months. It’s the perfect way to enjoy them at a later date.
