The Pantry Ingredient That Cleans Up Bacon Grease In No Time Flat
Pouring bacon grease down the drain can create blockages in your plumbing as the grease cools and hardens. It’s best to soak it with another material and throw it all in the trash.
One such method calls for pouring a large amount of baking soda into a pan full of bacon grease and letting the pantry staple soak up the grease until it becomes a thick paste.
Once the paste has cooled enough that it won't melt anything it touches, dispose of it in the trash. Consider spooning the paste into a can to prevent spills in case your bag rips.
