Three fried eggs in a pan.

The Egg Flipping Hack To Prevent Broken Yolks Every Time

If flipping eggs often leaves you with broken yolks, you may want to step away from the spatula and try a utensil you already have in your kitchen: a pan lid.

Simply fry the egg in oil or butter as usual. After a couple of minutes, when it's ready to flip, hold the pan above the lid and slide the egg into it.

Place the frying pan upside down over the lid while it still contains the egg, and flip it again. The pan will be the right way round, with the egg flipped perfectly.

The lid method also allows you to flip multiples all in one go. Slide the whole lot into the lid, put the pan over the top, and flip to cook the other side of the eggs.
