The Best Recipes Ina Garten Ever Made On TV, In Her Own Opinion
Although it's safe to assume that celebrity chef Ina Garten has enjoyed all the recipes she handcrafted on-air, she seems to favor her comfort food staples the most.
In an interview with Food & Wine, Garten shared that her pumpkin mousse parfait and luscious chocolate cake recipes are the desserts she has enjoyed making on TV more than others.
Garten's Beatty's Chocolate Cake recipe is quite addictive, literally. That is partly due to its secret ingredients: a cup of hot brewed coffee and a teaspoon of vanilla.
As for savory recipes, her slow-cooked, red wine-braised short ribs happen to be her favorite recipe ever written. Garten makes them in the oven instead of searing them in a pan.
Cooking the ribs in the oven eliminates the need to flip
them and prevents oil splatters. Garten suggests serving the dish with blue cheese grits
or mashed potatoes.
Her Parker's Beef Stew is also on the list. She serves the browned pieces of chuck beef over grilled bread, which helps soak up the juices, ensuring none of the sauce is wasted.
She also loved making her rack of lamb on TV. After all, she whips up a juicy lamb rack featuring a marinade of salt, rosemary, garlic, Dijon mustard, and vinegar in 35 minutes.
