The 2 Major Grocery Departments You Won't See At Aldi
Aldi is a great option for cost-conscious grocery shoppers, but their small stores aren't exactly supermarkets, and don't offer these two common grocery departments.
You won’t find deli or seafood counters at Aldi. To keep their goods cheap, the company employs as few staff as possible, meaning there's no one to man a butchery department.
Aldo does sell pre-packaged meat and seafood, but you won't find any name brands, and an editor from All Recipes called Aldi fish sticks "puny" compared to Whole Foods' version.
While Aldi offers lower prices, you won't always find what you're looking for, and with meat products, it's better to go somewhere else and pay a little more for better quality.
