Should You Cook Bacon On Aluminum Foil Or Parchment Paper?

Bacon can be cooked in many ways, and you can cook it on parchment paper for easy cleanup. Just lift the paper off your tray, throw it away, and scrub the baking sheet.

You may wonder if aluminum foil will also do the job. Parchment paper and aluminum foil are not interchangeable, but they both have advantages when using an oven.

One of parchment paper’s key advantages is its non-stick and grease-repellent qualities. It’s also sturdy and less prone to tearing than flimsier foil.

The best part about using aluminum foil is the simple cleanup. You can simply drain the fat from the foil and dispose of it. Foil also makes it easy to save the drippings for future recipes.

Parchment paper and aluminum foil both have advantages. Which one is best depends on your personal preference and priorities.
