Ree Drummond Regrets Filming One Recipe For The Pioneer Woman
Kitchen blunders can affect anyone. Even renowned chefs like Ree Drummond, creator of Food Network’s "The Pioneer Woman," occasionally prepare dishes that don’t turn out too well.
In her book "Frontier Follies: Adventures in Marriage and Motherhood in the Middle of Nowhere," Drummond described how her fried chicken pizza fell way short of her expectations.
Featuring large, unwieldy chunks of fried chicken and goopy coleslaw, the finished pizza lacked visual appeal. It was also compromised by poor-quality, store-bought ingredients.
The hastily prepared pizza, slathered with bottled barbecue sauce, failed to look good even under the bright glare of TV cameras. Drummond labeled it her "least favorite recipe."
