Cheese dip next to tortilla chips

How To Make Incredibly Flavorful 2-Ingredient Dips
Yogurt, sour cream, creme fraiche, mayonnaise, soft cheeses, or ranch dressing work great as dip bases, while marinades, barbecue sauces, glazes, and simmer sauces add more flavor.
One of the easiest dips to throw together combines sour cream with whatever international umami dipping sauce you have on hand, be it soy, hoisin, or ponzu sauce.
For example, mixing one cup of Greek yogurt, creme fraiche, or sour cream with two tablespoons or sachets of soy or tamari sauce can create an extremely flavorful dip.
You can even add a packet of taco seasoning or a few tablespoons of taco, enchilada, or fajita sauce to it to make a roasted chili- and cumin-flavored Mexican-style tortilla dip.
Soft cheese dips, however, need an extra step to become more spreadable or scoopable. The cheese must be whipped in a food processor with water before another ingredient is added.
You can add sun-dried tomatoes, jarred pesto, or briny olives to whipped ricotta for a salty dip, mix it with honey for a sweet one, or add balsamic glaze for both flavor profiles.
Mediterranean dips get a head start with feta. Whipped feta with Greek olive oil is tasty on its own, but adding a vinaigrette or marinade can create another zesty dip in seconds.
