How To Get Kitchen Knives Sharpened At Your Grocery Store
Not every grocery store will sharpen your kitchen knives for you, but it is worth asking someone at the butcher counter whether the service is available for free or for a fee.
To ensure your knives get better attention, arrive at the store early in the morning or when the butcher isn’t busy fulfilling orders for other customers waiting at the counter.
Bring one or two knives at a time to be respectful of the butcher’s time and be efficient with yours as you finish shopping. If you cook at home daily, do this about twice a month.
