Don't fret, this isn't the end of our second annual Frozen Drinks Week. It's just the beginning. We've got plenty of hot weather time before our cities all become frozen drinks (gross frozen drinks), so break out the blender and keep it out. Mastering a slushy cocktail is definitely part of your home mixology journey. Pairing those cocktails with light summery fare is another part. Enjoy this week's new recipes.

We cooked out way through some colorful summer food this week. From a blue and purple beer-spiked blueberry cake to vibrant prosciutto-wrapped avocado slices, there's been no shortage of stuff to Instagram. While the weather's hot, lighten up your breakfast tacos and continue to grill that wonderful seasonal corn. If the urge for a cheese-stuffed deep-fried bite of beefy goodness strikes you, that's perfectly normal. I mean look at those arancini.

New Recipes This Week: Fried Duck Eggs, Clam Ceviche, Blowtorch Salmon

It's hot out, so cook your food (or don't) accordingly. The big winners this week were ceviche (which is "cooked" with acid) and blowtorch salmon sashimi, which is exactly what it sounds like. A little crème brûlée torch won't heat the kitchen up much, unless you set your curtains on fire or something and fruit may be in high season, but don't let that stop you from frying up rich, buttery duck eggs with hearty blood sausage for brunch tomorrow. New recipes, right this way.

New Recipes This Week: Fried Catfish, Kale Caesar, Strip Steaks, Crêpes Suzette

If you can find a better week of summer recipes, I'll eat my...steak. Slathered with bouillabaisse butter. Seriously though, we dove into all our favorite hot weather foods: fried fish, lobster salad, spicy grilled chicken, jazzed-up picnic food, healthy kale salads — what more could you want, besides the jingle of the ice cream truck as soon as you're done?

New Recipes This Week: Tarte Flambée, Mango Pudding, Grilled Potato Salad

This week is all about peak of the summer produce presented in delightful, easy, occasionally flashy and always delicious ways. Don't bring tuna pasta salad to that picnic. Just don't. There are exotic deviled eggs, way better grain and potato salads and flavor-packed dips and sandwiches in this world. Pack a feast you can be truly proud of.

Well that was a super-fun week filled with none other than tomatoes! We've been waiting since November (at least) for those delightful little summer treats to rear their plump, juicy heads and the wait, while interminable, was totally worth it. We cooked up a storm, left some of the storm raw and most importantly, ate a bunch of tomatoes right off the vine, as nature intended. Enjoy this week's new recipes!

If you're grilling light, we have chicken and fish recipes you're going to love, provided you haven't finished all the cachaça during your epic World Cup celebrations. If you think you like that sweet spirit, wait til you see how much poultry does. Okra's in season, so toss that in the deep-fryer. Hey, we grilled a whole fish, which is very healthy. We'll take a little fried okra and maybe one or two White Russians made with homemade Kahlua as a treat. Enjoy this week's new recipes!

New Recipes This Week: Chicken Banh Mi, Olive Oil Gelato, Escargot

When the hot, hot weather hits, you have two choices: lighten up (as in don't eat these) or go spicy because spicy food cools you down. We obviously chose both — two delicious vegan recipes for tofu, a fiery hot cumin lamb stir fry and a jalapeño-spiked Vietnamese chicken banh mi sandwich. The Spanish olives have a chili kick, too. Too much? We whipped up a vanilla gelato that will soothe the burn. Enjoy this week's new recipes.
