We've all been there: wielding a knife at a watermelon on a cutting board, trying to figure out how not to slice your hand off. For simple salad-making, abundant snacking or easy feeding into your juicer, check out a video of one home cook's crazy-easy hack. As in literally hacking into a watermelon to free the yet-uncubed cubes within.

David Duchovny Could Have Been A Beer-Drinking Russian Cosmonaut!

Plus, highlights from the translated comments
Jul 28, 2014 3:00 pm

Welcome to David Duchovny's latest fantasy: being Russian! Dude, I'd fantasize about being Russian for a well-paying Siberian Crown beer endorsement deal. In this commercial — for a brew one Rate Beer user reviewed as "not Budweiser, fairly thin and generally not remarkable" — Duchovny wonders from the vaguely erotic confines of a space suit if his ancestors had not emigrated from the motherland, what might he have been?

Earlier this year, the guys were given their own TV show – Epic Meal Empire – to air on the newly formed lifestyle network, FYI, tomorrow night. We've got the entire first episode right now.

We've got all the painful, messy, funky details
Jul 23, 2014 11:00 am

You’d certainly be forgiven for missing the latest episode of Everybody, Kimchi! Or for not knowing that the comedy-drama series even existed. A clip from a recent episode has been making the rounds this week for featuring what must go down as one of the most painful, messiest slaps of all-time. Please do not try this at home. Please, don't.
Jul 21, 2014 1:00 pm

Like Transformers sequels and cut-off jean shorts (Knicks, can please bring back jorts, the dude is available), watermelon can be a pretty polarizing summer topic. As in, some people cannot wait to knife into the hulking fruit, while for others it inspires quite the gag reflex. And speaking of gag reflex, we were clicking around Facebook this weekend and this 13-minute watermelon video somehow appeared in our stream. Check it out.

Video: David Chang's Fried Chicken With Caviar Recipe. This Is A Classic.

That's right: Fried chicken. Caviar. David Chang.
Jul 8, 2014 4:02 pm

Sometimes, there’s a video that stays with you long after you watch it. That’s been the case for us with this clip featuring a rather, er, decadent recipe from Momofuku empire founder David Chang. It's definitely out there (to say the least), but it’s precisely this far-out, innovative thinking that’s defined Chang’s masterful career over the past decade. The animated clip, after the jump.

Cray! This Is How Fortune Cookies Are Made.

But really, how do they do it?
Jul 8, 2014 11:00 am

We’ve all experienced the wonder that is the fortune cookie. Have you ever wondered just how exactly fortune cookies are created, though? Read on.
