NHL stars take practice shots in the kitchen
Mar 2, 2015 2:30 pm

If the New York Rangers fail to repeat as the NHL's Eastern Conference champions this year, at least the team has stepped up its game in the arena of cooking. In recent weeks, several Rangers players have curiously appeared in cooking videos. Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist joined celebrity chef Mario Batali in making gnocchi, while forwards Carl Hagelin and Mats Zuccarello prepared steaks at Danny Meyer's North End Grill.

Patriots QB has vision when it comes to flapjacks
Feb 2, 2015 12:15 pm

Last night’s Super Bowl was one for the ages — unless, of course, you are a Seattle Seahawks fan. In that case, that was one to forget. For those who skipped out on the game, the Patriots won 28-24 on a dramatic final-seconds play. But, let's talk pancakes. This morning, we received an email from the editor of True, an adventure and travel magazine and website that is currently in pre-launch mode. For their first piece, they published an interview with Brady, who revealed his favorite pancake recipe. What can't this guy do?

Serena Williams Takes A Coffee Break During A Match In Australia

Re-affirms that coffee down under is GOOD
Jan 6, 2015 10:20 am

Apparently, in professional tennis at least, a bagel should always be followed by a cup of coffee. After losing her first set 6-0 during a match at the Hopman Cup in Perth, Australia, a sluggish and clearly jet-lagged Serena Williams did something not seen in the sport  — she called the trainer for a shot of espresso.

We all love ourselves some candy canes and eggnog come Christmastime. But how much do we really love these two holiday staples? Do we love them enough to wear them — literally? The answer is yes, apparently, for two NBA superstars, as that's exactly what Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant will be doing during their Christmas day games this year.

NBA Baller Steph 'Chef' Curry Cooks, Dances To Drake, Sells Olive Oil. We Love It!

Hoops star and his wife make quite the chef team
Dec 3, 2014 5:01 pm

There’s nothing to dislike about an NBA star cooking and dancing around a kitchen with his wife, music blaring in the background. And that’s exactly what we have here in this video. The backstory is simple: Drake comes out with a hit song that includes the line, “I been Steph Curry with the shot. Been cookin’ the sauce, chef, curry with the pot.” The Currys (Curries?) put together their own remix, complete with Ayesha’s rapping about being the “real chef Curry”.

Nov 24, 2014 1:00 pm

Awful. Atrocious. Cringe-worthy. Those are all suitable words to describe this season’s historically bad Philadelphia 76ers. The team has gotten off to a 0-13 start, losing each of their games by an average of 16.4 points. Times are tough in Philly and even team sponsor Papa John’s has taken notice. Read on.

It’s easy to imagine Adam Richman obsessing over something. Just think back to his time as host of the ever-popular Man vs. Food series. Off screen, however, the Brooklyn native has a diverse range of interests that include being a super-fan of the English Premier League's Tottenham Hotspur. The team rewarded him last week with the chance to watch a game in person and take over their TV network. We've got the video.

Can A Sandwich Help The Washington Nationals Win The World Series?

A title run begins with mayo and bananas on bread
Oct 3, 2014 10:00 am

More than any other sport, baseball is a game of superstitions. We’ve heard it all before: Don’t step on this line, take exactly this many steps to the dugout, don’t even think of talking to this player right now. But could the Washington Nationals be taking things to the next level with their affinity for sandwiches? Not just any sandwiches. Mayo-banana sandwiches. Naturally.
