We recently did an appetizer for a wedding that was pimento cheese, crispy pan-fried bits of bratwurst and pickled onions in an edible spoon made out of pretzel dough. It was a huge hit, a simple combination of flavors: cheese, sausage, pretzel that everyone can relate to, with a new twist on presentation. We thought about how we could flip it for game day and this is what we came up with. The recipe, after the jump.
