I love Portlandia. I think it's the best sketch show on TV right now. Sorry, Betty White and whatever you're trying to do with Off Their Rockers — it's just not working, m'ladydude. With Craft Beer & Spirits Week hitting high gear here on Food Republic, I thought I would take my TV writing talents and offer up some pitches for future craft beverage sketches on Portlandia. Fred? Carrie? Call me.

I get really into the Bob's Burgers specials. I even tried to make up my own once: The Good, The Bad and the Chutney. But the nice folks in the writer's room (who penned this awesome list for Food Republic) put me to shame. It looks like I'm not the only one collecting puns — one fan snapped up this delightful low-hanging fruit and tossed it up on Tumblr as any self-respecting animated comedy fan would do.

In honor of the fake Arrested Development episodes on Netflix, I thought I'd share the menu for the epic AD party I've been dreaming of for so long. We all decided you have to come in costume and stay in character. I'm being fake pregnant Maggie Lizer. Paul's being Gene Parmesean. Hathanh's being Anyong. We already found some washable blue paint. And how hard could it really be to locate a hand hook?
