Without masa harina, there would be no tortillas. Without tortillas, there would be no tacos, enchiladas, huevos rancheros, migas, breakfast tacos, steak tacos, fish tacos...no tacos, period. No arepas, pupusas, tamales or sopes, either. Embrace this crucial ingredient, learn its importance in all our lives, then let's go get nachos.

I believe that a hack is not a hack unless it makes something possible that was otherwise not possible before. Like making sure your epic bagel sandwich doesn't get smushed on the way to work. Now I just need to figure out how to make sure my hacked tostada shell doesn't get shattered. 

Passover is a time of year I like to try new things with my menus. I’m always sure to prepare and serve food that my guests can relate to and will remember, especially dishes for Passover as they are meant to bring back memories and flavors associated with this special holiday. It’s important that the ingredients shine and also represent the traditional Latin and Mexican-inspired dishes I grew up with.
