Her bright, brown eyes were like satellites beaming into my soul; her magical combination of bangs and pig-tails spoke to me with a sugary sweet voice that said, “I'm cool but casual and definitely open to talking to a guy like you, Jason.” But who was she? Aïcha. The most beautiful girl in the world. Aïcha. She had to be mine.

New season of MeatEater begins on Thursday

Chances are Steven Rinella is out hunting right now. It's simply what he likes to do and his passion for the sport is the basis of his television show MeatEater, which has the Michigan native heading to exotic places like New Zealand and the Missouri Breaks in Montana. On Thursday night the show returns with an episode that has Rinella traveling to his shack on Alaska’s Prince of Wales Island, where he hunts black bear and catches some large Dungeness crab.
