Good news (for most of you) — it's holiday party season! We'd rather hang out and drink with our friends, so we'd like to spend as little time in the kitchen as possible with maximum results. Lofty goal? Think again — we've rounded up some easy, satisfying and winter-appropriate party food for your kickback, soirée or slightly-less-formal-than-a-hoedown gathering.

Caravan is a coffee roastery, restaurant and cocktail bar in the busting Exmouth Market in London’s Clerkewell neighborhood. Their mending, hair-of-the-dog brunch sorta of knocked my socks off—and not because of an engergizing cocktail made with ginger-infused Sipsmith gin. But that didn’t really hurt.

No one can deny a slider. You can put anything in a shiny little brioche bun and people will be impressed and in awe of your talents (trust me). Luckily, this version also happens to be delicious. Braising the pork takes time, but all the components can be made a day ahead and the time will be well-spent.
