Yesterday the entire Food Republic team relocated to New York’s West Village for a daylong test kitchen and interview lounge, where editors prepared (and photographed) a range of dishes while chefs like Sean Brock, Amanda Freitag, Dale Talde, Angelo Sosa and Paul Qui stopped by for interviews. Afterwards, we threw a party the only way we know how — with lamb sliders, wines from Rioja and cocktails presented by our columnist Simon Ford. Plaza Food Hall chef caters to triple threats

I popped over to the Tonys afterparty last night to ask Todd English, superstar chef and genius behind the Plaza Hotel Food Hall, what it's like to put together a late-night feast for 1700. At every Super Bowl party there is, without fail, that guy. You know the one. He’s managed to knock over a plate of nachos, punch something (or someone) and is so tipsy before the half that you wonder where he hid the beer bong that he’s obviously swapped out for his pint glass.
