This recipe for French toast from Top Chef's Richard Blais uses buttery brioche for an extra-rich brunch experience. Use long cinnamon sticks to skewer them and infuse with extra cinnamon flavor. Following the food on a stick theory, these are better than any kind of regular French toast we can think of. Mmm. The recipe, after the jump.

I'm particularly proud of the Smashed Potato Bomb, as I am with Quesadillas Benedict, because I made it up on the spot and it took exactly 10 minutes to cook. Well, that's not entirely true, I had a leftover baked potato from the night before, so that shaved off about half an hour. After you bake the potato (or if you use leftovers), it takes 10 minutes.

This morning online reservationists Open Table shed some light on the topic when they dropped their list of the top 100 brunches in America. For the list, which is posted below in alphabetical order, the company complied data from nearly 5 million reviews, spanning 15,000 restaurants. Did they get it right?
