Frozen Chocolate Bananas Recipe

Now that I've gotten that out of my system, George Michael was right. Not about whether it's legal to touch your cousin in the state of California (still not), but that there's pretty much no recipe for a frozen chocolate banana. You dip it in the...chocolate, then roll it in nuts and freeze it in a cooler full of evidence. Or ice. You can't have a party without ice. The non-recipe, after the jump.

Now you don't have to call it the OC, cause Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand has left the Orange for the Apple. Wow, that's too many fruits. Yes, tipped off by a friend who's just as unabashedly obsessed with Arrested Development as I am, I'll be getting a GOB (GOB!) on my snack break today — a crane dropped them off right over by Rockefeller Center.

Banana bread is perfect for breakfast or lunch. It's also a great way to use bananas that are brown and spotty, rather than just throwing them in the garbage. I like to double this recipe and make a big batch on a lazy Sunday afternoon, that way I have a slice for every day of the week. Serve banana bread warm with a pat of butter, or dollop of cream or yogurt.
