Ingredients
  • 4 oz ginger root
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 5 pods cardamom
  • 1 star anise
  • 10 whole cloves
  • juice of 1 lemon
Directions
  1. Add sliced ginger, star anise and cardamom to 1 liter of boiling water.
  2. Simmer for 20 minutes
  3. Add in cloves and simmer for additional 5 minutes
  4. Cut the heat. Add juice of one lemon.
  5. Sweeten with honey, filter, and serve in mugs.
