Ingredients
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (3 ounces each)
  • 5 teaspoons Chinese five-spice powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 plums
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3 green onions
Directions
  1. Sprinkle pork with five-spice powder and salt. In 12-inch skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat; add pork and cook for 5 minutes or until browned, turning once. Transfer to plate.
  2. To same skillet, add plums; cook for 3 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in garlic, then soy sauce and brown sugar; cook until simmering, stirring often.
  3. Return pork to skillet; cook for 1 minute or until cooked through. Stir in green onions.
