Bud Light’s new ad tries to convince you that you don’t really like that crazy “something”-infused craft beer, because it’s craaaazy. In truth, however, corporate influence over beer drinkers has steadily declined in past years. Sure, their traditional target audience will pick up a case of Bud for beer pong or a big ‘ol rager, but more and more customers are leaving Big Beer in the dust for limited-edition seasonal collaborations and other fun, delicious releases from America’s 5,000+ craft breweries.

Watch the ad for yourself and decide what their angle is, but if you ask us: desperation smells like skunky light beer. And by the way, we tried that lobster brew. It was delicious.
