See Your City! New Campaign Asks New Yorkers To Explore Their City Through Food

"It's not every city that you can cool down with Italian gelato after a spicy Sichuan dinner within a city block," says New York City mayor Bill de Blasio. We couldn't agree more. That's why Food Republic has teamed up with NYC & Company, the city's marketing and tourism agency, to help promote the exceptionally diverse dining scene in this thriving metropolis of ours. It's all part of an exciting new campaign, "See Your City: Eats Edition."

And we're asking you to join the cause. Here's how: First, check out the campaign website, where you'll find all sorts of helpful dining information as well as a handy map to excellent restaurants in all five boroughs, including many interesting places that even you, the intrepid urban foodie, probably haven't visited yet. Then go out and dig in. And don't forget to take photos! Post these tantalizing pics on social media using the hashtag #seeyourcity.

NYC & Company might even feature your gustatory exploits online. This will be fun. Now go forth, explore and eat something incredible.

We teamed up with @nycgo to find the best way to eat in New York City. If you're looking to eat your way through the five boroughs, check it out at the link in our profile. #seeyourcity
