Video: Hurray For This Footlong Grilled Cheese From Chicago!

You're not a kid anymore, so one grilled cheese sandwich isn't going to cut it. Fortunately, The Scout Waterhouse & Kitchen in Chicago's South Loop has long loaves of brioche and isn't afraid to cut them lengthwise for the mammoth sandwich they call the Foot-Long Triple Cheese. It contains nine slices of cheese (American, muenster and cheddar, all made in Wisconsin) and comes with short rib if you so desire. Pair it with a Goose Island Endless IPA for the grown-up after-school snack we've all been dreaming of.

Owner Chris Bravos has his facts straight regarding this signature menu item: "The beauty of it is, it's four grilled cheeses at a time."

That IS the beauty of it. Also, the part where you stretch the cheese out of the sandwich.
