Shepard Fairey Hopes You Drink Hennessy

Shepard Fairey dropped by NYC's Soho House last week for a luncheon to introduce his new label design for a limited-edition bottle of Hennessy. Fortunately for street art and cognac fans, the term "limited" is being used liberally, as it's an edition of 315,000. Still, that shouldn't stop you from grabbing a bottle or two while they're available; previous Hennessy art collaborations with KAWS, Futura (check out our story on that one) and Os Gemeos sold briskly. You can find Fairey's design, which he says was inspired by Hennessy's legacy as a brand. Coming from a guy who went from designing stickers and t-shirts featuring a likeness of Andre The Giant to creating the iconic "Hope" campaign poster of Barack Obama, that's a big compliment. Check out photos of the bottle below. It's available at many liquor stores and via ReserveBar.com.
