Eat To The Beat: We're Going To NYC's Governors Ball Music Festival This Weekend

Whether you're a costume-clad Paleo wizard or letting your vegan freak flag fly high...or if you just want some cheese fries to fuel your wacky festival adventure, the Governors Ball Music Festival on New York's Randalls Island is the place to be this weekend. Oodles of the city's best truck-based eats, plus stands from some of our favorite cemented-down food trucks (also known as restaurants) will be feeding the masses. FR friends from Luke's Lobster, Momofuku Milk Bar, Cool Haus and Mile End (don't miss their "Deli Experience") will make you happy you made the trip out. Don't believe us? Check out the happy food-munching people from the last time we hit the grounds.

Got VIP? We do, which means our future holds Hill Country Barbecue, Calexico and Pok Pok. And better bathrooms. But mostly brisket, quesadillas and wings. In between snacks, art installations, lawn games and the silent disco (our second favorite to loud disco), catch sets from Fitz & The Tantrums, The Glitch Mob, Bleachers and Classixx — soon to be covered for Good Food, Rocks — and don't miss headliners Outkast, Jack White, Vampire Weekend, The Strokes, Phoenix, Skrillex and WAY more.

Dig the lineup? Might we suggest this FR-endorsed music for your next playlist?
