Life Is Beautiful Festival Announces Official Food Lineup. It's Big.

The inaugural Life is Beautiful Festival is coming to downtown Las Vegas in late October — and boy are they jumping on quality food > quality jams bandwagon. Also see Outside Lands, Googamooga and Lollapalooza. Today, the festival announced its lineup of headlining chefs and bands. Among the 60 chefs and restaurants participating are Scott Conant, Cat Cora, Michael Mina, Chris Cosentino, Rick Moonen, Jet Tila, Tom Colicchio, Michael Symon, David Burke, Charlie Palmer and Todd English.

A culinary advisory board of 12 top chefs helped shape the creative direction of the festival's food portion. The result? Demonstrations, something called "culinary affairs," intimate meals, a beer, wine and spirits garden and a large-scale Moroccan-style bazaar featuring the chefs, as well as mixologists and wine-makers.

Oh yeah, there are bands too. Musical performances will include The Killers, Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons, Pretty Lights, Empire of the Sun, Passion Pit and Jurassic 5. The diverse lineup of over 50 internationally established and emerging bands will perform on four stages and several indoor venues, while the art portion of the festival will showcase critically-acclaimed artists from around the glove and from within downtown Las Vegas' progressive art scene, as well as theatrical performances including Cirque du Soleil.

The festival will take place Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27. Tickets are schedule to go on sale this Friday, June 7th, with two-day General Admission and VIP options available. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit Life is Beautiful.
