The 18 Best New Restaurants In Chicago Are...
We love Chicago here at Food Republic, even if we did engage in heated debate over it being named Best Pizza City in America. But we fully acknowledge that the Windy City has one of the most impressive restaurant scenes in the country (one that doesn't nearly get enough attention outside of the Midwest). We're particularly excited about the May issue of Chicago magazine, who dropped their Best New Restaurants list – an exhaustive compilation that scoured no less than 73 recently opened Chi-town restaurants.
While the much buzzed-about Grace takes the top spot, other selections prove diverse and intriguing – from a restaurant named after a fairy tale to Macanese cuisine to a kosher barbecue joint (yes, you read that right). Here is the full list:
