Hey, so the weather where we are indicates it’s time for serious cold-temperature food! Not food of cold temperature, food for cold temperatures, like 9 degrees Fahrenheit. 9’s a pretty cold temperature. Innovative roasts like venison tenderloin with herbed spaetzle, hearty exotic stews like Moroccan merguez tagine and, quite frankly, just about the heaviest, creamiest potato dish we’ve ever created all served us very well over the past few days.
Plus, when you’ve got cabin fever because going out sounds like a recipe for influenza, infusing beer with salmon roe and calling it a cocktail might be the least weird thing you do.
