The holidays are all fun and games until nutritionism is brought up. It may be logical, but it's an insult to the turkey. The turkey said so itself.

Nutritionism is the idea that the value of food is purely in its nutrients rather than in the food itself. In other words, the food is only a means to the deliverance of nutrients – not as a whole. So, we all know we will be getting enough nutrition within a week from now, and we are thankful for that, but what happens when the delicious potluck forces us to eat more?
