Is It Okay To Dip Pizza In Ranch Dressing?
Help us settle this heated Food Republic debate
Editorial Director Richard Martin used to work at a deli frequented by folks from the pizza spot next door looking for ranch dressing. The pizza place, you see, did not carry it. Probably because to serious pizzamen, ranch is not what goes on pizza.
Maybe it's because we're all New Yorkers, or maybe it's because pizza is geniunely a big deal, but the last time we had a debate about pie it caused quite a stir. So now, clearly having learned no lesson, we asked: Is it okay to dip your pizza in ranch dressing?
Our Twitter feed erupted in a frenzy of insults and praise, just the way we like it. We posted some of our favorite responses below. It seems like the consensus is "only crappy pizza gets ranch," but we'd love to hear your thoughts as well.
