Video: Watch A Vegan Activist Confront The Author Of 'Meat Eater'

We’ll give it to Steve Rinella, host of show Meat Eater on Sportsman Channel and author of a book of the same name. When an animal rights activist confronted him at a recent reading, he kept his cool — even when the activist asked him about his life’s work: “Isn't this just a rationalization for murdering innocent creatures?” It wasn’t really a question, though Rinella responded. "I can assure you I know more about deer than you ever will and I probably care about them in a way that's deeper than you're going to experience,” he said as things grew slightly awkward.
