Yes on 37 releases a video ad about GMO labels
The California proposal to require GMO labeling is turning into one of the more intriguing political battles of this Presidential election year. As reports surface that agribusiness giant Monsanto has spent upwards of $4 million on advertising to convince the state's residents not to approve the measure, which would require food companies to disclose if foods are genetically modified, the Yes on Prop 37 side proposing the labeling requirements just released an ad comparing the "GMO is safe" claims to previous boondoggles like Agent Orange and DDT.
