She cooks with Seattle chef Matt Dillon, yodels too
The only thing we here at Food Republic don't like about April Bloomfield's tour for her book A Girl And Her Pig is that it takes her away from her restaurants near our HQ. There's nothing like coming out of a pork-filled lunch meeting at The Breslin and seeing the chef on the sidewalk chatting with friends. Still, we're happy she's getting out in the world and sharing her talents: pickling stuff in Chicago, for instance. Her latest jaunt took her all the way to Vashon Island off Seattle, where she cavorted with piglets — little did they know! — and yodeled amongst the goats. She also prepped a killer meal with the acclaimed chef Matt Dillon. Here's the proof:
