Word of the Day: Dragee
Building up your kitchen vocab arsenal
It doesn’t take much for a cake to look good, but what if you could make it look better than ever? No, not by hiding a person in it, that's claustrophobic for the person and uncomfortable for everyone. Just put some dragée on it and call it a day.
Dragée (pronounced “dra-ZHAY”) are tiny candies used to decorate cookies and cakes. Confectioners use the candy for weddings, birthdays and other occasions that call for cake. And now you can too!
