And The James Beard Award Goes To...

As we previously mentioned, last night was the big awards night in the American restaurant world at the annual James Beards Awards at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York City. Daniel Humm, of New York's Eleven Madison Park, was awarded the coveted Outstanding Chef Award, while Outstanding Restaurant went to Boulevard in San Francisco. "I'm going to take over his restaurant when he gets tired," said Humm jokingly with Daniel Boulud, moments after receiving the honor. "I don't even have to change the name!"
