If you love springtime as much as we do and really want to honor the history of the holiday, try the Invasión Francesa Cocktail. The drink represents Chef Julian Medina's signature cooking style of elevating traditional Mexican flavors and ingredients. He adds fresh tarragon and spring peas to the cocktail for a seasonal riff on a very important drink.

Servings: 1 cocktail

Ingredients

1 1/4 ounces Jimador Blanco
1/2 ounce Cointreau
1/2 ounce Remy V
1 3-inch sprig tarragon
3 Bar spoons spring peas
1 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce lime juice
tarragon for garnish
Directions:
  1. In a cocktail shaker muddle together the tarragon and spring peas.  Add the remaining ingredients with ice, and shake well.
  2. Double strain the margarita into a rocks glass with fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with small sprig of tarragon.
