Word of the Day: Kedgeree
Building up your kitchen vocab arsenal
An amalgamation of three foods gone horribly right is a favorite breakfast dish to our blokes over in England. Kedgeree is similiar to fish and chips, but with a different twist.
Kedgeree is a traditional British dish — inherited by colonial India — made with boiled eggs, rice and flaked or smoked fish. It's easy to make, filling and delicious. The fusion of these two cuisines creates a classic dish that simply can’t be eaten in moderation.
