Over the weekend we asked our friends Vinny Dotolo and Jon Shook, chefs and co-owners of Animal and Son of a Gun in Los Angeles, to take over the Food Republic Instagram account. There were no set ground rules—only take photos of your life in and out of the kitchen. What went down was a crazy weekend of cooking (uni, foie gras biscuits), eating (Loteria tacos, Mario’s Peruvian) and hanging out with a junior Top Chef.
