Ben Sargent's humane lobster cooking technique
Tweet
Ben Sargent, star of Hook, Line & Dinner on Cooking Channel, took a moment during a lobster-roll-making demonstration to show his technique for putting a lobster to sleep. Theoretically, this makes it less painful for the shellfish to endure being plunged into hot water and boiled to death.
Maybe.
If nothing else, it is somewhat entertaining to see Ben stroking the lobster on the noggin. The crowd certainly got a kick out of it. Watch and learn!
