Grilled Lamb Ribs are the new pork -- that was the buzz amongst the foodies this past weekend at the annual James Beard Foundation's Chefs & Champagne event in Sagaponack. Daniel Boulud's lamb ribs, crispy and meaty and cuminy, were the belle of the food ball.
The event honored Emeril Lagasse, who spent time at the serving station for his Delmonico restaurant doling out portions of shrimp. Other surprises included Richard Gere chatting with several chefs and Martha Stewart dropping by from her nearby country house.
Not surprising were the gorgeous people in summer clothes. Here's a photo show of the day and the dishes for those who didn't shell out $275 for a ticket!
